Experiences from posters that have played the game?

I know this is ambiguous and some (like myself) could say all of the above. But I was thinking about it today and just wondered. Also, do you ever give rep points? positive or negative?

Feel free and I encourage posters to add to the list.

My opinion is I do hand out rep points based on many factors. Hockey related knowledge at all levels. Posters like dash and puckhead seem up on juniors and pro's and I respect the hell out of that.

Many combine hockey and humor Like IPW does. Tox and SF and many others are very passionate and I like that as well.

I feel we have very knowledgeable female posters here like pix, loki and kenyg and others.

Sorry I can't name all of the posters from all areas because we have so many of them and generally I don't use names because you never get them all.

But I feel very happy with the posters we have and please remember if I didn't name you it's not because you are not a good posters. I was just wondering what others felt as far as what they prefer.

Also, What would you like to see more of or improvements. Please keep in mind this is my post and thoughts it's just for my own curiosity.

Well, the heroin does flow through the veins.

The new one will be arriving in just over a month. I had to custom order a few things that took some time.

I'm not sure how to quantify a good thread. The reason this is my favorite board is the great mixture of knowledgeable hockey and good jokes, and I've found those qualities in every topic. If I had to pick a favorite from your list it would be current hockey topics. I like learning about what's going on with every team in the NHL.

If I had to pick a topic I'd like to see more of, it would be in the history section. I like hearing about past greats, talking about how the game has changed, who people's favorite player was growing up, making comparisons, etc. I'm also hoping to use the poll option more once our numbers grow as I think we have a great core here that could create some enlightening and funny debates.

That is my current youngest on her 1st B-day 2 years ago. Briere was a great guy to talk to, real laid back.
