Make that total 9 players in 16 days: Six positive tests (WR CeeDee Lamb, DT Carlos Watkins, S Damontae Kazee, LG Connor Williams, WR Noah Brown, RG Zack Martin) and three close contacts (S Malik Hooker, S Israel Mukuamu and G/T Brandon Knight). DC Dan Quinn also tested positive.

The NFL requires that close contact puts a player away from the team for 5 days. Cowboys are busting nut trying to figure out who was with who and when and if there was full exposure in the locker room.

bUCS WIN BUT BOTH TEAMS LOSE THEIR PAYCHECKS.
This was bound to happen when you have an FDA approved vaccine and owners do not make it a condition of employment.

You know that the league and the Cowboys are scrambling to test, retest and continue testing every player in an attempt the get 2 negative tests in a 24 hour span. Then again, the leagues been forcing the 5 Day mandate and players like Cam can't go near the team, facility or staff. No way they can bypass that and not end up in court.

Anyone watching the Bucs/Cowboys??

Cowboys are putting up a better fight than most people thought that they would.

Cowboys should be in the lead. Their D looks terrible at times, combined with the missed kicks, and RG Martin out isn't helping their lack of the run.

Entertaining game overall. Zak looks good.

Brady and Gronk on point. Damn I miss them.

Watching the NFL Playbook this morning. None of the four were media types, but all were knowledgeable.

They were discussing every game to be played today and tomorrow but took some time to discuss Cam Newton and his You Tube interview. Basically, they all agreed that Cam is unemployed for several reasons but the key amongst them are as follows:

1. He's been in the league for almost ten years. In 2015 he had and incredible year and won the MVP. The problem is that he's been less than the average QBs in the league every other year.

2. In 2015 he had exceptional receivers and they caught everything even close to them. That should have been a warning because Cam was not accurate at his "very best".

3. His need to be 'seen' and oogled is a distraction and he doesn't care because 'he' get all of the attention. The more attention he gets, the more outlandish he gets. Both in his clothing and attitude. "HE" gets distracted from what his job and responsibility is.

4. When things don't go his way he doesn't accept the facts and dismisses them or blames someone else. He blamed others for not informing him of the proper testing procedures and test types that the NFL required for Covid. Every player has been told at least ten times what the required tests are for the disease.

5. He refused to accept the Patriots Medical staff's conclusion about his foot and requested that he be allowed to go to a foot specialist in Atlanta and the Patriots agreed to let him seek out another medical opinion. He sneakily stuck some blame on the Patriots for his need to go to Atlanta. He didn't get the medical opinion he wanted in Atlanta and one panelist surmised that this might have been his point of anger where he didn't get tested properly.

6. Having said what was said, they all felt that Cam is not the person to have on a team to help and support a rookie QB. They felt that he could not be trusted to keep a problem quiet if he could get another fifteen minutes in front of the cameras with a new hat.

One half of football down and the Bills look like the Bills and the Jets look like the Jets.
