I would have gone in a different direction than Elliot, but I'm not disappointed. Elliot may have the largest impact of any rookie this year.

Solid pick IMO, I'm kinda pissed they HAD to get one since Monroe was supposed to be the long term LT. They could have gotten a pass rusher instead if that was the case.

I'm happy with everything they got overall.

Corey Coleman
Philly 2017 1st rd pick
Philly 2018 2nd rd pick
Titans 2017 2nd rd pick
Philly 2016 3rd rd pick (#77)
Titans 2016 3rd rd pick (#76)
Philly 2016 4th rd pick (#100)

Gave up a 6th rd pick this year and 4th rd pick next year in the process, but overall I'm thrilled with this haul all coming from the #2 pick.

I suppose I am

The scouting reports I've read on Kenny Clark suggest he is an undersized 4-3 DT who is better at rushing the passer than stopping the run and is not a good tackler. I'm not enthused about the fit.

I have to say I wasn't expecting Atlanta to target a safety especially with Darron Lee, Shaq Lawson, Kevin Dodd, and a few other guys still on the board. I don't know much about Keanu Neal other than he makes poor choices since he went to Florida.

Content with trading down. Fair value via the trade chart- and there very easily is a player 10 spots down they would've picked at 28 anyways. More about quantity than quality right now in the draft.

Yes, yes, and yes. I am a big Paxton Lynch fan, although I would have rather had Carson Wentz.(wasn't happening though)

Do I like Mark Sanchez? Not really. Do I like Brian Hoyer? No. Do I like Colin Kaepernick? Sort of, but he seems to be a complete jerk. Johnny Manziel was available? No, no, and more nos. What about Jamarcus Russell? Get real. Vince Young? Nope. What about Trevor Semien? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

The Broncos needed a QB, He is a tall QB and he will be able to see over the big guys on the O Line and D line. I think he has very good upside.

I do not think the Broncos can throw him out there like they did Elway. Remember, Elway lined up under the left guard's butt, Tom Glassic, for the snap in a game in 1983.

Is it just me, or is Paxton Lynch essentially the same prospect Brock Osweiler was?

Not at all alone- it's a pretty familiar schtick. Going to need multiple years on the bench before he's a serious starter- and I am just not sure if he fixes all of the mechanics and ticks I'd like him to. It's why I was not thrilled with the idea of drafting Lynch.

Osweiller doesn't look like he owns a pron video store. I think that's the main difference.

This but I think Coleman is a hit or miss. He needs to improve on route running and get used to a regular system. We will see how long it takes him to adjust. He has the intangibles though. I do like the trades to get more picks but the Coleman pick was a reach IMO.
