This flock of ravens fans will fly away next Sunday after the game.

By the way, where were you guys before the game today?
You did not think you would win, did you. Admit it.....

First, I'm not a Raven's fan and 2nd, I didn't think they'd win tonight. I was just wondering what Pat's fans, other than Bill Simmons, who was totally dismissive of the Ravens in his podcast with cousin Sal, thought of this match up.

no, is that what you are saying?

No, I'm just trying to get a read on what Pat's fans are thinking about this game. No more and no less, so don't read anything into my posts other than the actual words I type in the sentences.

funny thread started by moab, like there is some long-standing rivalry between Pats and Ravens. To be honest, this is the game I wanted as a fan, nothing like a chance for revenge,

I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about the Raven fans who suddenly showed up after prolonged abstinence.

What I think? I think the Pats will have their way with the Ravens. How?

Pats don't blitz a lot but they will blitz Flacco. Ravens keep thei 98 pound running back in to protect Flacco and it will get ugly.....

If I remember correctly it is 1-2 (with all of the games played in New England) and the one win came on a Billy Cundiff easy chip shot missed fg which I believe would've sent that game to OT

I would be scared.

Past history does not always stay true.

What exactly is funny about it? All I wanted were honest opinions from Pat's fans, and Raven's fans too, what their expectations are of the upcoming game.

fair enough, expect a game where the Pats will focus on not committing errors, playing close to the vest they can win

Patriots don't stand a chance...and they know it. Flacco's coming to town.

Past history does not always stay true.

Of course it doesn't always, but at the start of tonight's broadcast there was a graphic showing John Harbaugh is 5-0 in playoff openers. While history didn't really have an impact or his previous record, that record is still intact. So there may be something to recent history and coaches and teams and venues...and the list goes on and on...

At the same time, records are made to be broken, streaks usually come to an end...it's just a matter of who and when, usually.

and gandy, you as a Lion's fan should know all about streaks...was JFK the president the last time the Lions won a game in DC, how about winning a game in Wisconsin, that's early 90's right...as Crash Davis put it, "you've got to respect a streak"... bad things happen when you don't

It's really hard how to teach teams used to winning in the playoffs how to lose. The Ravens haven't figured it out yet.

Loaded statement and BK stayed away Moab. I believe he knew I was going by that HFA he always bragged on with Nawlins.

I am a Lions fan Moab...you don't think 1991 rings a bell for me:lol:

I left out the part that his overall playoff record is 9-4, so other than 1 year, he wins 2 and then loses.

Gandy, I know all about it...funny shit happens, the Packers have never won in Buffalo, and I don't think they've ever won in KC either...shit just happens...it's a funny game with a funny shaped ball and funny stuff happens all the time...it's what makes the game great

The other part of past history statement was the Ravens had been 0-3 in playoffs against the Steelers.

I truly believe your team does not arrive with such arrogance.
