Are Chevy Equinoxes worth it? Why are they so cheap?

Looking through CarTrader for a cheap used car. I keep seeing Equinoxes from 2015 or later with under 60k miles and over 25 mpg highway for same prices as 2008 or earlier with over 100k miles under 20 mpg highway. Seems to be a theme among Equinoxes. Is it a deal or should I take it as a warning?

4 cylinder is a dog, and there are a billion of them coming off of cheap leases, and noone wants them.. supply and demnad, basically

If you can drive a General Motors product that has a warranty on it, ok.
You will be using it, a lot.

If you buy a General Motors product that is out of warranty, you are and idiot.

But with the 4 banger it's just not worth it.
