This one comes via The Athletic’s Nick Baumgartner. It’s especially for Carl:
20, Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
51. TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
85. Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon

Sign me up for this one.

Egbuka may never make an all-pro team or fill the role of being a #1 guy" but if we are consistently drafting in the 20s, starting with a guy like this is great. Henderson has been discussed a ton but is a legit potential joker. Ferguson is a great athlete with mismatch potential.

I don't think the Broncos could hope for much more than this with where they are picking. Egbuka really is such an incredible fit into this offense and what we are missing. He is consistent, trusted, and a true 3-down WR. He does the dirty work to help a team be successful and doesn't complain if the ball isn't coming his way every other snap. I think he is highly underrated because of the talent that has been around him at OSU. Most programs around college football he would be the #1 and it wouldn't be close. He would be getting 120-140 targets a year kind of guy.

Henderson I mean getting him late 2nd round is crazy value. I do worry about his injury history, but if there is a team that can help him out medically get to fully strength it is here in Denver. I think if you add Egbuka and Henderson to our offense this year we go from bottom-5 weapons in the NFL to getting closer to the top-10 this upcoming season. I expect guys like Franklin, Mims, and Vele to take another step forward so then you add these dynamic pieces with Sutton and Engram...This could be a really fun offense if everyone stays healthy.

Ferguson in the 3rd really lets this offense mix and match formations depending on the opponent. Could you imagine Engram and Ferguson both working the middle of the field with Egbuka and Sutton the outside? Then mix and match in the backfield of Mims and Henderson what you want to do. I would love some plays where Mims is on one side of Nix and Henderson on the other. Good luck figuring out who has the ball.

Seriously I would cry happy tears if this is our draft in a couple of weeks.
