He produced on average team and silenced a lot of doubters and the whole RB's over 30 crap


AP had a good season, no doubt. Especially for his age. He certainly deserves credit for that. That being said, let's not act like he's "back" to his former prime self. A 1,042, 4.2 yard average, 7 TD season is still a decent ways off from his prime. Again, I'm not saying that to discredit his 2018 season. All I'm saying is that while he had a quality season, it's pretty ridiculous to act like his 2018 season was anything like what he was doing back in his prime, which ended around 2015. The guy has proven he can still be a quality workhorse RB, and that is worth something. He has not proven he could carry a team anywhere near as much as he did with the Vikings from 2007 ~ 2013.

An overlooked fact, Adrian Peterson played in 16 games last season and rushed for over 1000 yards!
