I think Iowa should be lower, maybe unranked. They should be lower than Iowa State for sure.

Iowa won 1 out of last 5 games. They beat Minnesota (13th in B1G currently) and lost to Indiana, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Ohio State. I think Indiana is the only team on that list that is ranked and Wisconsin is 26th.

Iowa State won 3 of their last 5 games. They beat Texas (currently 23rd), TCU, and Kansas State. They lost to Baylor (#19) and Texas Tech (#31).

Oh, and ISU beat Iowa

Some of Iowa's recent struggles is a function of the schedule.

But other than that, @Indiana and @OSU are tough road games against good teams of the type every team has lost this year and Wisconsin is probably the hottest team in the Big 10.

True, and their losses were close games. They were still in them until they needed to start fouling.

During the time Iowa was one of the hottest in the country, when one player had a bad game, another stepped up and covered for him. Not happening as well now. Also, I had a friend point out on Facebook that Iowa is not being aggressive, and at this point, there needs to be aggression.

Iowa at 16 is about right. They're getting love for beating MSU twice and Purdue twice. Iowa is a mess right now.

Eh people overreact all the time in CBB. Most every team goes through a patch where they play like shit. Every team in the B10 has had one. Does it suck to lose 4 of 5? Sure but the games have been close. The more concerning thing with Iowa is that this senior laden team still can't win those games. 1-6 this year vs lock NCAA tourney teams in single digit games and only 3-2 vs non tourney teams in single digit games. Plus in ALL those games save 1 ( ND ) Iowa had leads with less than 10 minutes left. Gotta win close games to make any kind if noise in March

That's a good point. Houston lost four straight in the middle of January to Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and South Florida. Since then UH has won eight of ten games, most recently at UConn, for its sixth conference road win of the season. Really think that Sampson's squad has a good should to make the Big Dance and, hopefully, make some noise. Certainly been a long time since that's happened.

Yeah there are very few exceptions when it comes to a team not hitting a rough patch and even teams that don't have a stretch where they lose 2 ir 3 in a row or 4 of 5 or whatever usually have a patch where they don't play well. The difference between a 1 or 2 seed and a 5 or 6 is winning close games during your bad stretch instead of losing those games

This is what I worry about with Arizona. Every game we have lost, save Oregon, has come down to the final possession. A lot of things have gone against us, but eventually you start to think it's more than just that, it's that we haven't figured out how to finish under pressure. If we haven't figured it out yet, will we at all? Certainly doesn't feel good that it's March and that's the major question I have....

I just hope Oregon can finish out their regular season with 2 wins in LA. all there losses have come on the road and putting it in their minds that they can win against teams in their house is important going into the tournaments. If the Ducks can win out going into the NCAA tourney I like their chances to make a deep run.

Yeah with Iowa tgus,us like,the 4th year in a row we don't win close games. At some point it's either the coach ir these particular players. You don't go 13-37 over 4 years on close games by accident
