Anyone seen Steve Earle in concert recently?

Steve is a top two on my favorite musician list, and I saw him before the pandemic and he was great, but he doesn’t have a backing band anymore and is getting up there in years. I bought a couple tickets for me and the baby mama to see him in June.

Pretty sure it’s just gonna be him and an acoustic guitar, which is fine, singer-songwriters tend to be what I listen to the most, but does he still play the songs he made with The Dukes backing him, or does he purely play solo stuff now?

Is October of last year recent enough?

I saw him here in SF at the annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass weekend music festival in Golden Gate Park.

His band was with him and he had special guests join in on some tunes.
He’ll do some of his older originals, some newer stuff and some covers.

He always puts on a solid performance.
