The first place guy in one of my leagues, who also claimed Brandin Cooks off waivers this morning, just picked up Antonio Brown. It doesn't seem like he's hurting too badly at WR, though. He also owns A.J. Brown, Lockett, Lamb, and Deebo.

In my other league, no one has picked up Antonio Brown. I don't think I'm going to roster a 32-year old nut case who hasn't played in a long time, but I was wondering if anyone was bullish on him.

If he were a RB, I would probably pick him up, though. LOL. You can never have too many RB's on your roster.

I think it would be a bad idea. The offense is just fine, why mess with it? Why take a chance he infects other players with his attitude? Hate the whole idea, but sounds like something the Seahawks would consider.

I don't own any Seahawks receivers, but I guess it could hurt their fantasy production. That's what some are saying. I kinda doubt that the addition would hurt DK, though.

Lockett and Metcalf have been pretty good together, if I thought Brown be OK as the third WR maybe ( probably not) it would work out. However Brown will be demanding the ball and he's a locker room cancer. Sounds like looking for trouble adding him to the team. I'm not for it at all.

What does it cost you to hold him for 2-3 weeks?

Answer may vary for each team but Im probably putting low/min bids on AB and see where it goes. My player on the end of the bench usually have little to no upside anyway so.....

If you go back 2 years (exactly), he has been on 3 teams (PIT, OAK, NE).
In those 2 years, he has played 10 games.
Targets = 104 (10.4 per game)
Receptions = 68 (6.8 per game)
Yards = 875 (87.5 per game)
TD = 10 (1 per game)

That's an average of 20 PPR points per game.
Is he a nutjob? Yes!
But 20 points per game!
He's a dart throw.
But he's gotta be worth dumping some hype guy that you're patiently waiting on (too long) to come around with the fantasy season halfway over.

I wouldn't bother in a redraft..not without a little more substance than a whispered rumor that any particular team briefly considered signing him.

In a dynasty, or certain formats of keepers? Sure I could see the reasoning behind grabbing him. Most that I know of never dropped him to begin with though

No not A. Brown, but I picked up Leveon Bell.

As soon as I hear that Mixon is fine, then I'll drop Bernard and perhaps take this dart throw.

It will be interesting to see his involvement. It sounds like CEH will still be the guy.

Let's say AB (nutjob that he is) says that he wants to be able to pick his team.
What team would take a chance on a nutjob?
Oakland did.
Patriots did.

And even if he hand-picks a team, look at some of the division leaders (contenders) who have a banged-up WR corp:
Titans
Dolphins
Colts
Eagles (the NFC East is a hot mess)
Packers (opposite Adams)
Saints

I'll stash Bell for couple weeks while looking to see how KC use him. I think they'll use him for goal line situations.

Oh, theres need for his services, no doubts.
There was also need for Ray Rice's services, Kaepernick's,...I don't think him currently being unemployed has anything to do with him picking or not picking a team, and everything to do with putting up with his crap, his distractions, and his off field legal concerns

Yeah, thats a nice little blurb of unadulterated coach speak, and I ain't buying it. MAYBE one more week as hes getting the system down, sure, but he'll get on the field, and it'll all be over but the crying at that point
