Just putting the news out there before it happens today. It makes a lot of sense. If that doesn't happen it will be 49ers. But lions is my first pick

He's overvalued....a head case for any team, and at 30, getting up there in years for a top WR.

I get the argument he is overvalued bc he is a headcase but 30 is too old??? He can still put up top 5 WR numbers but he better be a fit with a team he goes to. Even if the new team didn't sign him to a new deal his contract would end when he is 34. 30 is not too old and it really doesn't look like he is slowing down, it's just his ego and the issues he creates on the sidelines, locker room, etc.

I floated this idea as Marvin Jones pulled the same nonsense AB did at the end of the season. They could flip WRs and 1st round picks and save face. I am sure Darrell Bevell could do wonders with AB considering he has a beast in Kenny G on the other side and Kerryon Johnson in the backfield. Just need a TE and Stafford would be unstoppable.

This will be the first year in over a decade that the Lions have a real HC and a real OC. They wont suck. Offense was terrible last year. SHould be rolling in a year or 2 max.

Not a bad idea and makes sense.

People have been saying this for years now. At what point do we just fess up and say he is simply not that great of QB?

I put him in the Kirk Cousins box. Big inflated numbers when it doesn't matter. Staffored is a a great "garbage time" QB.

Most Lions fans aren't so hot on Stafford at this point... Very few around here really run to defend him. They think he's just like you said... Fine... decent... not great.

I said years ago that he was Jay Cutler and now their numbers are basically interchangeable.

104/1297/15...says he's not overvalued.

Headcase...yessir

Age...has about 3 more peak seasons before he faces the cliff.

Brown catches the balls that enter his orbit.

Amari Cooper went for a first that turned out to be the 27th overall, and he's got frying pan hands.

If you have Brown on the field, you have a supreme talent. You just need to be able to handle his ego, which is a big problem. But not as much of a problem as trading for a WR who drops a lot of balls.

I actually think WRs age better than most positions. With AB, the risk is the diva factor. I think the talent will be there for 4-6 years.

Don't really care where he ends up. The league is full of head cases and prima donnas. The man has talent so best of luck.

Who was the last 34-36 year old WR to be great? The only one I can think of is Fitz. TO was about 10 years ago. Otherwise, I think 32 is usually about the time WRs start regressing fast.
