Haha, well, I don't doubt that since 2017, Carr probably has targeted the TE, possibly more than any other QB. its just the dynamics and cast of characters is turned inside out going into this upcoming season.

BTW, the offense was 8 points per game better when Carr doesn't favor the TE

Yep..2016, the season before Cook came on board, Raiders 12-4, 26 pts per game.
2017, where Cook nearly equally Cooper and Crabby in targets (led them in yards), Raiders 6-10, 18.8 ppg. And of course last years 4-12 debacle with 18.1 ppg

So, in addition to the previously mentioned years, 2015 was a similar split as 2016, dominated by WR's Crabtree and Cooper. 2014, Carr's rookie year, with James Jones and Andre Holmes out wide, the TE did receive 99 targets. You take the big scews of seasobs '14, and '18 due to roster circumstances into context, he really is about on par with anyone else in the league.

In other words, if his best players are out wide, he'll target out wide, if its the TE, he'll target the TE
