Just wanted to get some feed back on Browns value. In one of my leagues he is up for auction. Normally he won't be on my radar as too expensive for likely production going forward. However I would hate to see one my competitors get a steal of a deal because I sat on my thumbs. Known offers are

1.7, 2.5, 4.11 all 2019 picks

Claims another team offered Kupp and a first, but that team doesn't have a first this year or 2020 so would have to be a 2021.

I'm offering 1.8 2019, 2.8 2020, Jaylen Samuels, Goodwin and Sanders.

Brown owner was looking for Chubb, D. Cook or D. Johnson to be included, but I'm not doing that.

Thoughts?

You already have the best offer imo. Is Johnson Duke or David if its Duke i'd probably offer to put him in and take Samuels out. I think Samuels will have pretty decent numbers this season. Chubb and David Johnson are both worth more than AB and Dalvin Cook is pretty close by himself.

It's David and I agree that he's worth more then Brown by himself even after a down year.

Yes I think I do. At the end he'll most likely cancels the auction, because I think he was hoping for a whole lot more. Besides he doesn't have any other decent WR on his roster.

In a dynasty, I'd say at 31 and as volatile as he is, and now in Oakland for the foreseeable future, I would've jumped on the Kupp offer, even without a #1, this year or whenever.

If I were in the market, I guess I might offer anything from 1.5 down, and possibly a flex worthy WR, at most. No way I'm going nuts for David Carr''s #1, no matter who he is

Gruden is crazy but he does like to use veterans.
At least that's the rumor on Gruden.
His ceiling may be another 1200 yards.
But I wouldn't expect double-digit TD.
As for his floor.... see Jordy Nelson (another veteran).

Yeah I agree. Brown wasn't even a thought for me until he was put on a auction, then it became a case of self defense. Can't let some other contender get him for a steal of a deal, so I got to bid enough to keep that from happening but still not crush my roster if I actual get Brown and Brown flames out with the Raiders.

dont forget learning a new playbook as well, and that carr has more of a nack for TE targets than wr targets

If the Raiders' defense doesn't improve (ranked dead last in points allowed), Antonio may be getting plenty of looks as they try to keep pace with the team they're losing to.

keep in mind he lead the league with 11.3 TPG last year.

Brown saw 13 or more targets in 7-of-15 games in 2018 alone.

There’s been just 11 times in Carr’s five-year career where he’s targeted anywide receiver at least 13 times

and carr has a propensity to target TE's, just like Luck

All good stats.
But I don't see OAK making him the highest paid WR and then use him sparingly.

i dont see him getting 15 targerts a game, i think his useage max probably what it was last year, plus doubtful hes as connected with carr as with ben, but u never know

Wouldn't go that far, Cooper and Crabtree were always options one and two, Cook only led the team last year because that's all they had

As I mentioned earlier, I think 1200 yards is doable.
Just don't bank on double-digit TD.
(That's basically 6 extra fantasy points per game since he had 15 TD.)

i wish i could find the article, he targets TE's at the rate andrew luck does.....career, not one year. His WR target rate is far less than guy like ben and some other.........he has a propensity for TE's

And not to mention, Cook likely flies the coop, and before got there, the WR's split 300 targets..so unless they also add another dependable TE..all bets are off

I'd be very interested to see it. In 2017 alone the WR's were targeted roughly 375 times (adding targets in my head, forgive the approximation) and the TE's only about 80.

When Cook came aboard, yes the three of them evened out..100 for Crabby, 90+ for Cooper and 80+ for Cook..but that's because Cook was a damn fine target..a damned fine target that likely won't be back next year.
Carr ain't my hopes and dreams of a franchise QB, but, just like Luck, he targets the open receiver, regardless of position
