Is it over?

He hasn't performed well Fantasy wise for me the last two weeks...

Should he still be considered a good start, Fantasy wise?

I own zero stock in ARich and didn't think twice about drafting him. Maybe he excels one day but I still feel like he has a ton of developing to do

Would love to gloat. Said this in August:

May i ask?
What is the attraction to Richardson?
He's played 3.5 games, got hurt, and now he's flying off the boards early.
What gives?

But dummy me didnt foresee how it would affect Pittman (and i have a few shares of him).
:gaah::sigh:

The knock on him coming out of college was his completion %. After watching the Colts-Bears game in week 3, man, Richardson had wide open guys that he was horribly overthrowing.

He’s turned Pittman into Shittman……I foolishly drafted him as well……

Never really understood the hype around him coming out of college. He can't throw, he can't read D's..but he can run like the wind. If tha'ts enough, godspeed to you

Fantasy owners will give up on him, but the Colts can't really. I'll keep an eye on him to see if he starts to improve as a QB (he may well, he's still very green) but I wouldn't think too much about him before then.

Not a bad time to buy low, though, if you have bench space.

Safe to move on in redraft if you don't think he'll get it going this year but I'm still a believer in Shane Steichen developing Richardson within the next couple seasons. Kid is only 22yrs old and was known to be extremely raw coming out of FL

At Florida there was so much hype and he never lived up to it even there. Size, athleticism, huge arm. I said this before but people want to make comparisons, fine. Josh Allen is probably the comparison, a mix of Allen and Lamar. Allen has one of the great turnarounds in NFL history. Dude changed everything about his mechanics and worked his ass off to become a top QB after looking like he never belonged in the NFL

To me, he's essentiall still a rookie. If he is gonna develop, can safely say it wont be this year (i.e. redraft).

Maybe he runs and boosts his fantasy stock? As @Shanemansj13 said, maybe he's a version of Josh Allen and 2025 will be a turning point? Or maybe he's Justin Fields and will need much more time?

To me, he is a player to avoid.

I didn't like him coming out of college. But that's as a real QB. As a fantasy QB, the hype is over as some league winning QB. And considering where he was being drafted, you're probably hurting right now. But his rushing should still give him an ok floor. I wouldn't cut bait with him just yet

I watched Trevor Lawrence miss wide open throws all day last weekend (it was fun).

Richardson is still learning the QB position. I would hold and stash if I could, but ya can't start him right now.

well the physical talents/ability certainly give hope for greatness, so if you've got the room in a deep keeper or dynasty, yeah absolutely. and as long as he's the starting QB, he's worthy of starting any given day, because the talent exists to throw up 30+ any day. I't not like he's a worthless pile of dung.

He's just not plan A material, at least not at the moment.

I dont agree.
(I mean, i agree with the part about holding onto him in dynasty.)
He needs seasoning and coaching. He cant be throwing haphazardly all game and be "worthy of starting any given day."

Geno Smith is playing great right now and he is sitting on the waivers scrap heap. Why? Because he played like Richardson 4-5 years ago.

UF QB's always get a lot of great press. .... only a couple have lived up to the hype. ... just the opinion of a Native Floridian and resident UF dis-liker since the days of Ray Graves. ...

Or cause he hasn't thrown for more than 1 TD in a game yet and has thrown just as many INTs as TDs so far with only 1 game over 300yds, if I had to guess

Right now Geno is the 11th-best QB for fantasy. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for the other 21 starting QB with less fantasy points.

Felt like this game was a total dud by Baker (he sure showed me the following week), left a lot of meat on the bones since they had a lead, think he only targeted Godwin like once in the 2H after he tore them up in 1H.

Was shocked to see less than 19pts good enough for QB5 on a week with no byes
