Haha I think most probably think gus over lilja is an upgrade. I certainly feel that way. Though lilja has played pretty well recently. Grossmann seems to have reminded this crew that hitting and blocking shots are allowed

Even the scrub defensemen have been playing alright recently. Gusty has made some good poke checks and good positional play, and Lilja is still a pylon but recently he's been a slightly better placed pylon. Grossman is REALLY impressing me, I hope we can find a way to sign him. Preferably at the league minimum with lots and lots of illicit outside-the-cap dollars/perks. Kubina's not bad, and I like him pinching in as aggressively as he has.

My only real complaint recently has been last night's game where the opposition got 3 solo breakaways and a 2 on 0 for good measure. Glad Bryz made most of the stops, but we should probably consider not hanging him out to dry so often.

Lilja might be the worst player in the NHL. The only guy I wouldn't consider being a major upgrade over him would be Bourdon.
