After busting out to a 13-2 start last year, Mariners put it in cruise.control and went 55 - 92 in the last 147. Epic effort.

With improvements to the Angels and Rangers, I see our Mighty Ms buried deep in the AL West cellar. I'll say 55-107 with a 21-55 record in the division.

My gut says 0-162, but my head says 61-101.

Tough to even make a half ass call on this w/o knowing what actually comes out of ST, but looking at what the team "might" look like, and with Servashit at the helm, I'll go 58-104. .358 might be a little on the low side so maybe I won't be so damn disappointed for the 18th time (or is it 19th ?) . :pound:

I think having more players on the team that aren't 1 year rentals and are supposed to be in the picture longer term makes a difference. I like the back end of our rotation better than last years opening day roster of Mike leake, Wade leblanc and felix Hernandez. I do think we can get 70+ wins

I can actually see this team getting better as the year goes on but I have had 67-95 penciled into my head for a little bit. I think thats actually close to most O/Us I've seen too

Expectations IMO are like 58-68 wins but big problem is who they end up having on the roster the whole year. I can see 48 wins if they don’t have any break out younger players or 70 plus if they get a couple of starters and position players to play above what they are expected.

But knowing the franchise, with the expectations and the virus going around this will probably be the season they make the playoffs and no one can attend.

My expectation is some of the young prospects that get a chance to play will excel and some will implode. This is a huge learning year, even if everything clicks they still shouldn't be that good. I have them right around 65-97, just hoping they don't hit 100 losses.

I will say that if we do not hit atleast 70 wins there is a huge problem with 3 prospects that were drafted in the first round on the opening day roster and this team cant hit a growth of 2 wins more than last season is a problem.

Agreed... And I felt I was being optimistic... :D

I think our pitching will be better this season so I think we'll be in a few more games than we were last season...

I hope so. All I want is to see improvement which gives us fans some hope that maybe the needle might be finally trending upward.
