K&K are almost done. I wouldn’t be shocked to hear one or both of them retire after this season, but I am ignorant about their current contracts, so who knows.
Jon is still great, but is getting older and he is bound to want to slow down EVENTUALLY.
Flem is great, but he is constantly getting pulled in multiple directions. It isn’t out of the realm that he will walk from the Giants to open his schedule to his other opportunities.
So what will the team look like in the coming years?
I think Pence is primed to be an anchor color guy. He is still raw, but he is 1000x better now than he was just a couple years ago. He has real potential.
Lopez is solid, but pretty dull. He has livened up a bit in the last few years, but he is still too vanilla to be a TOP guy, imho.
Estes is a pro, but very forgettable. As is FP. And Ritzo. And Winn.
Will the Giants need to pull from outside the org to replace K&K?
