He's better than anything we're throwing out there atm, and is a switch hitter. Downside, any CF acquisition is likely the end of Belt possibly being an everyday player.

Not at all...probably Nate would lose more starts...and maybe Huff would sit once in a while too.

I wouldn't mind at all. He's pretty similar to Torres, but is actually preforming this year.

Nah, it just means that somebody else on the Giants would get injured.....

Yawn...he's league average at best and having a down season. The Mess won't let him go cheap as he's got a year of arb left. He doesn't get on base enough to be a true leadoff hitter. I don't see him being enough of an upgrade to warrant a decent prospect.

Granted, league average is an offensive improvement but his defense is slipping this year and with Beltran, Belt and Nate needing starts and the rosters ready to expand in 1.5 weeks I just don't see it.

You're probably right.

He is on-fire of late. 18 for his last 45 with five extra base hits.

And with only one walk is his last ten games, he'd fit right in!
