Yeah, how did Shannahan allow the Pats' offense to walk all over the Falcons' defense like that? :heh:

No Matt Ryan to channel his best Andy Dalton for you this time. :heh::heh::heh:

Don't sweat it. Enjoy that Lamar-Hunt trophy. :heh::heh::heh::heh::heh::heh::heh::heh::heh::heh::heh::heh:

Yeah, pretty funny considering he's winning with defense and running game (that defense word again, and not exactly his cup of tea).

owning the government mules is one of the best parts of his tenure imo...:D

Hey it's all relative, we owned the Chiefs last decade and the first half of this one, and you've been owning us the 2nd half of this one. Highest we had was 7 in a row from '12-'15 and you've had 9 in a row from '15-'19.

This thread definitely has epic multi-year-bumping tier fail potential here.

Bro... Andy Reid must have bumped his head and reversed his playoff issues. 27 runs in a championship conference game. Do that once more and you win a SB. Run the ball Andy. All those really good Eagle teams from 2000-2004 had to deal with Reid’s panic. “Oh my god. We are down 3-0 with only 5 minutes left in the first quarter. We better throw the ball 60 times”

obviously Philly fans would know best as far as their history with him, but as i see it these days he's analyzing games better and adjusting quicker imo. game management is still his only glitch, but i think he's improved...

I'm sticking with Bill Walsh as the HCGOAT, at least in the modern era (from the Super Bowl on), but when it comes to longevity and always putting out a very solid team, Reid is way up there. The man just always seems to produce winning teams.

A SB win away from being an indisputable HOF'er. Good chance only these three names have more career wins than Reid when he retires:

Belichick
Shula
Halas

Actually, I think Reid gets the nod at some point, whether or not he ever takes home the trophy. He's a great coach and a brilliant offensive mind.

He's in no matter what now, as a coach taking teams from both conferences to the big game. But if he wins one, no doubt he is first ballot. He is one of the most well-liked coaches in the business, which helps with a popularity contest like HOF.

I feel sorry for him. At this point he has lost, how many conference title games? A LOT.

I don't feel sorry for him for that (his son's situations though I wouldn't wish on any father).

But...interesting take from the OP when Reid is mostly known for not being able to win the big one. Largely because I'm a Mahomes fan, but also because Reid handled all those failures with class...I'd like to see the Chiefs finish the deal.

A SB win probably locks it up for him for HOF.

When we let Reid go there were rumors he could go to Dallas and, from what I remember, Dallas fans laughed at the idea. I would rather have Reid then Garrett but hindsight is 2020

I'd like to see Andy get one just to shut everyone up about it for a minute or two. Also, I obviously want the Niners to lose so there's that. As for the whole choking thing, yeah, in Philly he got pass happy like Mike Martz at times. I do cut him a break though. This is the first time he's actually had an elite QB.

agreed. Andy needs to win this to shut up his haters.

and you are correct, Andy has won a lot of games in this league with average QB's. He's never had a top tier QB.
