The double coverage on the deep Andre Johnson catch, who were the two 49ers players?

I think it might have been Trenton Robinson. Not 100% though.

Robinson was just flat out late. Not sure if he sunk too far down like some others or what but he was late.

What's interesting about this play is the pass was not well thrown in that it was short and it 'hung-up' giving Robinson time to not only recover but also to make a play.

If Robinson had been playing the ball instead of Johnson he could have easily come underneath for the pick - If Goldson was playing center field on that play - that is our ball going the other way.

The biggest thing for me on that pass play is the absence of any pressure on Schaub... That was a slow developing play where Johnson had to cross the field and Schuab had the luxury of standing there then letting it fly without any pressure

Not having Brooks or Aldon out there definitely hurt the pass rush. They need someone who could fill in and bring some pressure in case either one of those guys go down during the regular season. Parys where you at?

Man, I was thinking that the whole time and I thought, why don't we see that with Alex, Kaep, Johnson, or Tolzien? (I know the answer) It seems that even when we face 2nd or 3rd stingers, our QBs don't get time. Of course, we have our 2nd and 3rd string o-line in then, too. Then a few seconds after telling my wife that, then the pass is made. That makes me jealous (not really).
