true story. while making cold calls about 12 years ago, i got a guy in AZ with the last name Ethier. We shot the shit for a while. he tells me his son is in the dodgers farm system and would be called up soon. so i tell him one of my best friends from high school had the same last name as he and his son. he asks where i grew up, and i told him. "thats where my family is from. Every year we go back for a reunion". turns out my friend steve was 1st cousins with Andre.
