So dude gets individual awards while the franchise player at OKC, but doesn't win team awards. Dude leaves his franchise team to join an all-star team and win team championships, now dude wants individual awards?

Did he really think he deserved it over Rudy?

As far as bigs go, I had him behind Embiid and Davis too.

Could be boredom.

These Dudes are so head and shoulders above everyone else, except maybe the Celtics, who they only play twice a year that he could just be looking for motivation to slog thru 82 games.

Which is exactly why he should have accepted Lebron's invitation to join him on the Lakers.

Maybe he should work on being the best on his team before whining about not getting league-wide awards

He's not even the best defender on his team. He's probably 4th after Draymond, Iguodala and Klay, tbh. Not sure what he's getting at, but what I do appreciate is that he's more locked in on that end of the court than ever before in his career.

I remember when he was a humble player.

He has turned into such a whining bitch with a major attitude

But I'd still take his whiny bitch ass with a major attitude on the Pistons, so there is that:noidea:

ESPN showed a stat where KD holds the man he's guarding to the lowest ahooting pct. In the league over the last 3 years
Draymond was 4th I think, Anthony Davis was second, forget who was 3rd.

While that is a nice stat it does not alone make him DPOY. A lot of holding a guy to a low shooting percentage depends on how good the shooter is to begin with. Guarding a chucker poorly who puts up 3s at 33% rate will look better than guarding a big well and holding them to 35%.

I just don't get why some of these guys keep doing this. They have to know they're going to get skewered.

Lebron got bashed a couple of seasons ago when he made some comments about not winning MVP and he actually had a very solid argument for why he should have won. Certainly a better argument than KD has for DPOY.

Holding 2 finals trophies and 2 finals MVP's in one hand while holding the victim card in the other is just a bad look.

Agree, just pointing out that KD is maybe a better defender than he gets credit for. Maybe not DPOY level but not laughably far from it.
