No one can consider me a TCU wonk since I had them as my overrated team going into the year. Of the two loss teams, which have two better losses? Either that or Ohio State and Texas are rated too high.

At this point in time, many teams haven't really played top ranked opponents to any extent. Of the two loss teams, it looks like A&M and TCU have the "best losses" if there is such a thing. Miss State also.

Yeah, if you are a resume ranker, no way Notre Dame shouldn't be #1 IMO. I'm not, but those that argue resume's on here every week and don't have Notre Dame #1 have some explaining to do...

I believe Alabama is the most powerful team no doubt, but I still want to see them actually play a strong opponent. I guess that will come eventually.

I have Notre Dame #1 this week. Last week, I had LSU #1 and Notre Dame #2.

Iowa should be ranked. Poor effort Coaches Poll. UCF is way too high also.

I actually disagree with Iowa. They haven't beaten anybody. Anybody they have beaten are either not getting votes or haven't beaten anybody with votes. Still too early to put Iowa in there.

I believe Bama is the best, but that schedule is really soft. They have been kicking the shit out of weak teams

That said, how the hell is Clemson 4? Same soft schedule and they have struggled a few times.

Regardless of schedule and how they look against it, as long as they don't lose, Bama and Clemson are the two programs that will get the most benefit of the doubt.

With the NFL talent on CLemson's team, it's hard to imagine that they aren't a top 4 team, but they haven't played as well as expected. They dominated Wake Forest though, so they might be starting to get going.

But even if Clemson isn't that strong, they should still be able to cakewalk to the ACC title, and I'd give them the best odds of any P5 team to go undefeated. They don't have a Bama/Georgia waiting down the line like Bama/Georgia does.

I have seen Clemson a few times and their DL is NFL caliber. Outside of that I don’t see much NFL talent, maybe WR. DBs and LBs are not the same quality that Clemson has brought out. Offense is Watson badly. I got nothing on Bama, except the defense doesn’t look as dominating. Hard to tell if that is out of boredom though

Can any one loss team get in the Playoff instead of an Undefeated Notre Dame, Colorado or UCF?

A one-loss Alabama would get in ahead of an undefeated anybody.
Probably true, and therein lies the problem with the playoffs. Think undefeated ND, with an SOS that will be stronger than Alabama's and not getting in.
When teams get in based not on actual record but their pre season rank. If Alabama were to get in in this scenario, there would be another undefeated team at the end of the season as two of the undefeateds would end up playing an bowl.

If ND goes undefeated, we're in. Only crazy scenario is if Bama, Ohio State, Clemson, ND and WVU are all undefeated. If that's the case I don't know who the hell gets left out.
