GMGM is having a hell of a summer. Our D-core looks great now and they've set up the cap situation really nicely for the next 2-3 years with some of this work. Green or Semin is probably going to have to go sometime next summer to keep Carlson, MoJo, Vokoun, and some role players moving forward. But they have a situation where they don't have to work hard to keep the majority of the core of this team.

Carlzner is probably the best young D pair in the league and we have them for $2mil combined. Vokoun at $1.5mil. Hendricks and Johansson both less than a million. Some great value contracts on the Caps right now.
