The best part of the game yesterday was hearing Lou Nolan announce one more time, "Goal scored by #10, John LeClair!!!! His first. with the assists to #88 Eric Lindros and #8 Mark Recchi!

I wasn't able to watch it. I bet if I was at this game, my money would be I would have been choked up with the introduction of Bernie Parent. Furthermore, hearing Mark Howe reflecting on his long friend Brad McCrimmon. The Crazy8 line was probably awesome. I just wonder "what if" Pelle Lindbergh was still around today? Relieving Parent in the net. I just get the chills reading Metzler's blog from today. Glad you enjoyed it. I probably would have shed some tears. It brings back many memories of my childhood days growing up and watching the Flyers during the 70s,80s, and to this present day.

Agree I loved the game and I'm glad that the players took the time to show up for it....in the end I'm sure they were happy that they did too. Philly made me proud with that crowd!!! Lots of guys were choked up....and so was I!
