Out of curiosity, I put this together a while back. What's the best all-time team that one can assemble using only players that were traded multiple times before age 30? Obviously, great players don't get dealt in their twenties very often, and even more rarely, multiple times. You can put together a strong team, but nothing close to a legitimate "all-time" team.

Anyway, it's something like this:

C Moses Malone
PF Domantas Sabonis
SF Adrian Dantley
SG Tracy McGrady
PG Jason Kidd

B1: Mark Jackson
B2: Paul George
B3: Joe Johnson
B4: Jermaine O'Neal
B5: Chauncey Billips

Depending on how exactly we define "traded", today we can plug in Luka Doncic for Jason Kidd, and bump Kidd to the bench. A bench which falls off really quickly.

For added fun, no less than half of them were Indiana Pacers at some point, two of whom were dealt for each other.

Of the 45 players with 10+ All-Star Game selections (as of 2023):

16 played for only one team: West, Magic, Bryant, Nowitzki, Havlicek, Bird, Russell, Schayes, Thomas, Baylor, Pettit, Arizin, Greer, Robinson, Stockton, Duncan

3 were never traded: Jordan, Karl Malone, Cousy

11 were traded in their 30s: Garnett, O'Neal, Durant, Wade, Gervin, Olajuwon, Robertson, Ewing, Gilmore, Iverson, Drexler

1 was only traded by an ABA team: Barry

12 were traded once between their first game and age 30: Abdul-Jabbar, James, Erving, Chamberlain, Hayes, Paul, Barkley, Bosh, Anthony, Harden, Pierce, Allen ( at least 5 were not by the teams' choice )

2 were traded multiple times before age 30: Moses Malone (4x total, including ABA), Jason Kidd

So yeah, we don't see this stuff every day.
