I agree with most of that, but I don't see Briscoe as a main event guy. Maybe you could get 1 main event out of him, but that's it. He has the in-ring talent, he can talk 'enough', but even without the jobs his presentation is a problem. He looks like a hillbilly bum. No promoter will push him and he'll only have a small niche group of fans. He'd need to be a heel with a hillbilly version of the Death Riders faction to have a run on top.

I think that look is something that can actually work. He looks a crazy SOB that’s always ready for a fight. That’s missing from a lot of these contrived flippy do matches where everyone just looks like they’re waiting for the next spot.
Briscoe I think is a guy that he can get sympathy if they give him the right material to work with (this tiny pickle joke seems childish but the crowd likes it so what do I know). I don’t think he should be the world champ (or have a long run if he did somehow get it) but I don’t see why he couldn’t hold one of the secondary titles.

Trying to figure out after this show how many top babyfaces they even have anymore after Hangman since Ospreay is going to be out for probably a year or so and Swerve I think is going to be gone for a bit as well. Darby is probably one of the only ones I can think of that can actually be around on a regular basis.

I’m just about to give up on both of these tv shows and maybe watch the PPV’s. These shows all seem like a copy and paste format every episode now. I really want to like AEW and want them to succeed but I’m just bored throughout it all and just care less and less every week. I feel like the lack of posting in this thread anymore that I’m not the only one that feels this way.

I'm cool with the tag titles. They had teams of women fighting for months. At least there's a reason for it now. Plus it gives more of the roster stuff to do. (Watch them put the titles on either Storm or Mone)

I could see them on say Storm and Windsor, so that way Storm isn't overshadowing the rest of the division since she seems like shes easily the biggest star they have for the women right now.
