He's a playmaker. Gase's offense need a couple of Wilsons to properly function. When Wilson, Stills, Amendola, and Grant were all playing togther, the offense was hard to stop. Miami had good WR's, a TE, and RB to throw to, so everyone had to share.

Nice that they are signing a WR but don't they still need someone to throw him the ball?
This is the bigger issue. Crying over a contract that was only 4.5% of the cap and was actually a value prior to injury is very low on the list of problems for the Dolphins.

the O cleared 30 points 2 times all year including pre-season, how were they ever hard to stop

I dont think i ever correlated it to cap or %of cap. More that it wasnt a great signing. It may turn out to be, and i may eat my words. But a guy getting 50 yards a game can be found on the streets

I think you're treating WR's like RB's, there.

Idk man, maybe it's just the Chiefs fan in me, but I feel like you're taking that position for granted. Lot of absolutely terrible WR's out there.
there are , i agree. but were talking about 50 yards and 2-3 catches a game......i mean eli rogers can do that, hes our #4........

They were Top 10 in yards per play, yet dead last in offensive plays per game when AW and the others were healthy early in the season. The D couldn't get other teams off the field.

i am. i dont think im far off for 50 yards
I mean, you're talking 800 yards a season. That's more than guys like Desean Jackson, Allen Robinson, Larry Fitzgerald, Amari Cooper, and many others had. 33 players topped that number this year, so I'd call that pretty good. If your #2 WR gets 800 yards a season, you've got a solid offense I'd guess.

I guess , just broken down 2-4 catches and 59 yards a game isn’t much

We're also talking about a Miami team that had the 3rd fewest pass attempts in the regular season, so gettin 50+ yards per game as part of a WR committee is pretty solid. It'd be interesting to see what he could do in a competent passing attack.
