Nailed it.
Wasn't too hard. This lineup makes many a pitcher look awesome.

Unfortunately, under current leadership, don't see that changing anytime soon. Hottest hitter sits, and King gets removed at 65 pitches and cruising. Fucking maddening.

King looked really good(other than the Devers missile). He settled in well after the 1st. That Leutge was pretty nasty, too. Pitching clearly not the problem.

Ottavino really pitching well of late. 1 run allowed in his last 14 appearances.

The ex-Yankee tandem of Whitlock and Ottavino went 2.2IP. 1H, 0BB, 4K, 0ER tonight.

Yeah I've been feeling a lot better about the bullpen this week.

Sox have a team ERA+ of 114, 3rd in the AL. Hell of a turnaround from past year.

DeGrom has an ERA+ of 624. I don’t think I’ve ever seen something quite so ridiculous from a starter this far into a season before. 58 innings pitched and 4 earned runs allowed all season. He’s also struck out 93 and walked 8.

No Stanton in the lineup tonight. That might be a good thing for the Yankees? He’s quite a case these days.

He’s either 15-24 with 9 HR or he’s 2-25 with 19K’s. There doesn’t seem to be any middle ground for him anymore.

Well, the Red Sox didn’t bother to field a team in 2020, but I don’t know what the hell happened in 2019. I guess they might be due??
Turns out that they ARE due. Great series for the Red Sox and a totally unexpected end to the week after the 3 losses in HOU.
