Andujar was removed from the Scranton game last night after the 1st inning, so he's almost certainly on way to the Bronx. He's 6 for 13 with 3 HR in AAA.

What that means for Urshela's knee remains to be seen.

He's been playing LF almost exclusively in AAA though.

Of course, if Urshela is hurt, the backup infielder is Tyler Wade, who can't hit his way out of a wet paper bag. I think I'd rather take the defensive adventure and have the better bat in the lineup.

He's been playing LF almost exclusively in AAA though.

Of course, if Urshela is hurt, the backup infielder is Tyler Wade, who can't hit his way out of a wet paper bag. I think I'd rather take the defensive adventure and have the better bat in the lineup.

Makes sense. Andujar would be an upgrade at about 4 different positions right now. Get that bat in the lineup while he’s hot(and healthy).

I don't see why Stanton can't play a game in LF every now and then. He's not great out there, but neither is Frazier.

Following yesterday’s game, the Yankees optioned RHP Albert Abreu to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees recalled INF/OF Miguel Andújar (#41) from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
