Well that sucks
Before reading this post (yesterday in fact after the game) I was thinking in hindsight Eagles should have tried to keep Blount
I liked Ajayi but I felt more comfortable with Blount running the ball
Now this news...ugh
But it's not like the Eagles coaching staff was calling a run heavy or even balanced game plan
The way they have been running the ball they could have kept the IR news silenced and no one would have even noticed

And they just restructured Cox to free up room this year and next. They seem to totally deny its about Bell....but it might be about something. Very interesting.

My 2 guesses on whom the Eagles may trade for are Kenyan Drake from Miami or Tevin Coleman from Atlanta. Drake's a very good RB but for some reason Miami keeps giving Caveman Frank Gore almost as many touches and they have promising rookie Kalen Bilage waiting in the wings. Might as well get something in trade for Drake if they are not giving him many touches. With Coleman ... he's a free agent at the end of the season and Atlanta is 1-4. They can plug in Ito Smith behind Freeman and be just fine.

I’m intrigued by both options. Of course, there isn’t a whole lot left in the backfield to not get me excited about Drake or Coleman.
I would still LOVE to see DJ. But prying him from the Cards just feels like a crazy fever dream.

There is a good write up on possibilities. As with life in general the lead assuming and exciting options are the more likely ones.
After reading I like the idea of Coleman more. I also actually feel pretty positive about Powell. Not on fire for that one....but intrigued.

Agree. No thanks. I would rather give up a 2nd for Bell. Johnson is not available, at least not yet. everybody has a price, so who knows. I think Howie will definitely get a RB somewhere.

Link? How do you know what the Bills asking price is? I live in the Buffalo area and have not heard of the asking price, but I do know I'll be tuned into Josh Reed on News 4 Buffalo to see the latest details. No way do the Bills get anything close to this. I do think they will deal him and try to get a 3rd or 4th. Just my opinion.
