Not a huge surprise. I was hoping he would have played better when we traded for him.

I thought he played pretty well but the issue is we didn’t get him for very long between injuries and suspension

I think based on what we saved in money it was the right move cutting him.

But I definitely think we go CB 1st round now if we don’t trade back.

Agree, Easy cut. Probably one of the easiest cuts we have had in awhile based on contract. Hard to say if we will go CB in the first round without going through free agency. But it is definitely an off-season need and picking where we do the value should be there. I am expecting to draft a CB early and sign one. Callahan’s contract will be up after this year and while he played great last year his injury history is a little unpleasant. Ojemudia could start eventually. Bassey probably more of a 3/4 CB.

Man, it looks like we will go cb early, although with Fangio,s defense it’s not cut in stone. Parsons would be the absolute perfect draft pick if he wasn’t an alleged psychopath

I love Parsons but IMO- taking an off ball LB at #9 with character risks may not appeal as much as many other options at #9. On ball LB is more appealing that high.

That being said as I stated back when the NFL discussion 2021 thread was first made by our beloved OC, Parsons is one of my favorite players in this draft.

I am actually thinking a trade back at 9. Acquire additional picks, to provide resources for the 2022 draft incase we need to move up for a QB, or if Lock pans out we then can use the extra picks to reload the defense.
