CIN...8-0...beat CLE 31-10 - while I think they are definitely a team the Steelers can beat even in CIN...you have to give it to them...undefeated thru week 9 is a big deal. After seeing what the CAR D did to Rodgers, I might still put them 3rd of the undefeated teams but it's a nice club to be in. Bengals will probably be no worse than the 2 seed. 5 games left where I think they will be challenged.

PIT...5-4...beat OAK 38-35...up and down, idk if any team has weathered this kind of key player injuries. It hasn't looked great all the time, but they are in the mix. I really thought the DEF had turned a corner until the Raider game. I think they beat CLE this week behind Landry and we have to see how healthy they are for the last 6 games. I see them winning 9-10 games and hanging around for the 5th or 6th seed, but not sure if they will play with a full deck.

BAL...2-6...bye week...the Ravens are not eliminated yet so I expect them to continue to fight, but it's a lost cause this year...the DEF was supposed to prop up the team until the OFC was up to speed...Suggs has been missed for sure, but it hasn't happened. I'll be surprised if they do better 7-9.

CLE...2-7...lost @ CIN 10-31...I didn't expect 7-2 after week 9, but the Browns seem to be struggling on both sides of the ball again. The promising young DEF has a lot of high draft picks but is 26th in avg pts allowed...that doesn't bode well for Pettine. Couple that with the same instability at QB...the Browns might be in the top 10 of the draft in '16.

Call me crazy but I'm pretty sure this is pretty damn close to how I predicted this division... I'm pretty sure I picked:

1. Cincy
2. Pitts
3. Stains
4. Ravens

Can't quite remember though. I'd have to go dig through other threads. I sort of remember thinking Cincy was going to take a step back this season, so I might be wrong.

Cincy is still playing at a high level. I don't see them coming down anytime soon either. Not sure how that will translate into the postseason but they'll be in the divisional round for sure. PIT has their work cut out for them, but they are still in it to win it. IMO the Browns are a better team than BAL right now but those games could go either way because of CLE's QB situation and our laundry list of injuries.

I think I had it

1. PIT
2. CIN
3. BAL
4. CLE

CIN is playing well. The lead is too big to overcome, but the game in PIT did show me the gap is not as wide as the records would indicate....I'm kinda leaning towards a split, but we'll see how healthy the Steelers are.

I think 12-4 is a good landing spot...they could go 13-3...@AZ, STL, PIT, @DEN, BAL.

BAL/CLE...The Ravens have a nice 3 gm stretch...STL is tough, but possible they could win all 3 of those...the Browns might have better talent every where but QB...Mack and Thomas supposedly getting shopped...moral can't be too good on that team, this prediction might hold up...I think they will be drafting the big kid from Memphis...the question is do they start over @ HC too.

Fat Lady Ain't Singing Yet!!!

I didn't think it warranted another thread yet, but the AFCN might not be over yet.

Last night the Bengals must have thought it was JAN already. They lost at home to the Texans in pretty much ugly fashion. The OFC was shut out. Credit Romeo to get that TX DEF back together. They've actually played well the last 3 games. Dalton had them in position to at least have a few shots in in the endzone to win it, but AJ coughed it up. Still, Red Ryder BB gun had a tough game....too funny, he got pissed about Watt mocking that.

Long story short...bad loss for CIN going into AZ this week...I smell 2 Ls in a row...this thing is not over yet.

:L They just had to give us a faint glimmer of hope, didn't they? lol

Who knew TJ Yates was the Kryptonite to Cincy? 3-0 against the Bungals in his career lol. Yates knocked Cincy out of the postseason in '11.

I think this is a good wakeup call for Cincy though. They have been riding the same game plan for over a month. That's not how the NFL works, no matter how well you're team is playing. Eventually someone will catch you with your pants down. If they learn from it and start playing smarter then they are easily a 2-3 loss team, maybe less. Essentially I'm sayin they needed a loss to steer them in the right direction. But if these are the Bungals of old, then this is just the beginning to the end lol. I could see losses start piling up real quick... AZ, PIT, & DEN. Don't discount BAL or CLE either.

Not to mention OAK & NYJ both lost!

Chefs won and leapfrogged some teams into the 7th seed.

Not sure who I want to win Monday night. I think PIT has more to gain from a BUF loss. But on a personal level we fans would gain a lot more from a NE loss lol.

well that works out well for us if we tie them in the end ..I believe we beat the cards
I think if we won out & they did as well that they would still win the tiebreaker. Losses to the Chefs, Ratbirds & Bungals are against us. We need them to lose a couple divisional matchups for us to leapfrog them in the AFCN. We play them in 3 weeks, and that is a crucial game. If we win that, then they need to lose to either BAL or CLE as well.

We just need to win out.... fuck what everyone else does.
We end up getting fucked when we have to rely on what other teams do....
This team is without a doubt the top of the food chain in the NFL and its about high time they start putting teams on notice.

they cant win out if we win out cause they have to play us again and I dont see them beating us twice and with the new developments with the ravens we win there also .. so yea beating the cards at least creates a wash out cause of the loss to the chiefs

Truth! Sorry I should have specified that part lol. I was basically saying if PIT wins out and they split with CIN then yea it would be a wash. Not sure how the tiebreaker works after that?

Tall order to win out though... Let's take it week by week

Sort of like reading chinese...

NFL Tie-Breaking Procedures

If its a wash then it will go to conference wins (AFC matchup record). If thats a wash then common game wins (in this case a wash). So then it goes to "strength of victory" which has no explanation lol. Is that score differentials? Then it goes to strength of schedule, which we were ranked #1 heading into this season so that goes in our favor... Then it just gets confusing lol
