Oddly enough...Crosby has 4 career regular season sacks when playing the Bengals...all back in 2019, IIRC with just 1 post-season sack. So, 3 games total since that 2019 year and just 1 sack...eh. Not sure there is really concern warranted.

Again, not to say Crosby hasn't been a really good player...just sometimes narratives are people throwing shit against the wall.

It was mostly a mess on both sides. The Bengals could have figured it out a couple years ago and it wouldn't have been an issue. But, Trey's dumbass agent let the Bengals extend him on a very team friendly deal which Trey immediately regretted in less than a year. As @Cincyfan78 said - Trey is weirdly sensitive and it's hard to know why he makes the decisions he makes. This also shows up on the field sometimes as he's drawn some of the dumbest flags at the worst possible time.

On the other hand - If you are playing with the lead and the other team has to pass, he will absolutely wreck a game. He doesn't have the pass rush versatility that you see in TJ or Garrett, but from a straight speed rush around the corner, he's about as good as it gets in the game.

It will be interesting to see what happens as he ages - If he loses a step at all, there aren't other parts of his game to save him. He's basically a one-trick pony, but when that one trick is working it's awesome.

Maybe not, but generally they have been a winning team and a playoff team which I'm pretty sure is what he was saying. You can't win a super bowl if you aren't making the playoffs...
