Tough to say. Raiders IR'ing anyone that can go win them a game. Been quite the competition between them and the Giants of who can IR more big names this week.

It could happen for a couple of reasons. Let's say the Raiders hate this upcoming QB class. They might view Murray as more of a quick fix that they think they can maximize what he brings to the table right now. If Pete Carroll for some reason doesn't get fired for example I doubt he would want to hang his hopes on a rookie QB in maybe the toughest division in football.

The Raiders might also not have the 1st overall pick and miss out on the top couple of guys and think the 3rd QB in the draft is not worth it.

Maybe, dunno if Raiders are not better off having a couple of really bad years to build up some draft capital. I have not seen Murray play much, but it seems he overreached thinking he was going to make it in NFL. He got his payday though, so good for him.

Murray has some incredible moments, but he just has way too many limitations to his game. His size is a problem especially when attacking the middle of the field. There are so many coaches though that believe they can get the best out of a player and will see the raw athleticism of Murray giving him a chance.

Sorry, but the Broncos ruined their uniforms with the recent update, they look awful now. If they go back to their Orange Crush full time, they shoot to the top of the list. Otherwise, it's:

Raiders now own the rights to the #1 pick, assuming that they tank against the Chiefs next week. Raiders last owned that pick in 2007 and took Jamarcus Russell. We'll see if the purple drank is flowing again in the draft this year. Just win, baby!
