One of a few meccas for college football though. Does Alaska even have any lower level college football teams or are you all scared of a moose fucking your bent over players in the asses?
Well ya because travel expenses for a team up here would be pretty cheap. Reminds me a bit of all those home & home series games the SEC does with teams outside of Waffle House territory.

Hawaii has a population of 1.42 million vs 737,000 for Alaska not to mention 1/3 of the population here lives off the road system .. as in fly in only. Cut Alaska in half and Texas would be the 3rd largest state in the Union.

Will that make you feel better about being a felon who has to pay manly women to have sex with him?

Because I'm pretty sure I'd rather VT never win another football game at all than for that to be me.

btw Kirby Smart has this many SEC conference championships under his belt as a HC:

Not true. He beat Auburn for the 2017-18 SEC Championship, then lost to Alabama in the CFP Championship game.

I'm still working on the B1G. I'm going to finish it up as soon as I finish filing my taxes .. which was supposed to be two weeks ago. I'm lazy.

Wait a minute, are we talking to The REAL Donald Trump here?

Unlike that tourist mecca that you live in called 'Alabama'.

'Honey, how about we take the kids to Birmingham for our family vacation this year' .... said no one ever.

As usual, you don't know what you are talking about. Jefferson County - of which Birmingham is the primary city - had 3,352,539 visitors in 2017. The whole state of Alaska only counted 2,248,300 visitors during basically the same time period. The top 3 sites in Birmingham - not the whole county - accounted for 1,297,964 visitors.

Jefferson County was the second most visited county in Alabama, trailing only Baldwin County - the home of Gulf Shores & Orange Beach - which had 6,421,992 visitors.

If I only had a nickel for all the times I've heard 'I want to vacation in Alabama.'

If I only had a nickel for all the times I've heard 'I want to vacation in Alabama.'

People who live outside the South - unless they have family connections to Alabama - often don't realize the various amenities this state offers. In extreme south Alabama you have pristine beaches, Mobile Bay & its many river systems, a couple of Civil War-era forts, bay & deep sea fishing, the historic city of Mobile, which has a reconstructed French fort, great seafood restaurants, the Battleship U.S.S. Alabama Memorial Park. And the city is the site of America's first & longest running Mardis Gras celebration.

Farther inland, the old town of Claiborne was home to William Barret Travis for a spell before he abandoned his wife, infant son & unborn daughter to run off to Texas. His uncle, Alexander Travis, was a prominent evangelist & church planter in south Alabama.

The middle portion of the state includes the cities of Selma & Montgomery, both of which gained both fame & infamy during the battle for civil rights. Montgomery was also the site of the Wright Brothers first aviation school (which was later moved to Dayton, OH), and the city that unveiled the first electric street car.

The Robert Trent Jones Golf trail features some 26 master-planned golf courses and resorts across the state. Tuskegee is the site where George Washington Carver & Booker T. Washington gained fame as educators and agricultural experimenters. The Tuskegee Airmen were one of the most famous fighter squadrons of WWII.

The northern part of the state contains part of Lookout Mountain, the resort town of Mentone, Little River Canyon - the deepest gorge east of the Mississippi River, and nearby Fort Payne, home of the music group, Alabama. Also, Little Will's Valley is where Sequoyah lived while developing the Cherokee syllabury.

There are many lakes renowned for their fishing and recreational use, a number of caverns to explore, and a portion of the Cumberland Plateau extends into north Alabama. The Sipsey Wild & Scenic River actually disappears underground, and the Sipsey Wilderness includes the Dismals Wonder Canyon, which has unusual plant and insect life forms that glow in the dark.

FAME Recording Studio in Muscle Shoals was where many seminal hits of the 1960's & '70's evolved, with artists including Wilson Pickett, Percy Sledge, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Clarence Carter, Mac Davis, Lynryd Skynrd, Paul Simon, the Allman Brothers & the Band recording hits there, as well as in nearby Florence - which happens to be the birthplace of W.C. Handy, known by many as the "Father of the blues."

Nearby Tuscumbia is also home to Ivy Green, the Helen Keller birthplace.

That's just a small sampling of things to do & see in Alabama.

We call this a speed bump west of the Missouri River.
