Georgia Tech has two new commits. The first is 4-star OL Shamire Devine from East Point, GA 6'6" and 360 lbs. He had 9 offers, including one from Florida St. (the others were from SEC schools).

The other is 3-star RB Donovan Wilson from the talent fountain that is Ohio (Dublin, OH to be precise). Wilson is 6'0" and 205 lbs. One of his other offers was from Boston College.

The Yellow Jackets now have 3 recruits.

And so comes JM, bearer of truth. Maryland has a commitment from 3-star LB Derrick Hayward, the Terrapins 3rd commit. Hayward is 6'5" 195 pounds, which is on the tall and lanky side for an LB. Interesting. He also had an offer from Boston C.

UNC's newest commitment is 3-star QB Mitch Trubisky, from Mentor, OH. Mr. Trubisky had around 10 offers, none from ACC schools. The Tar Heels have 9 commits, and move into second place.

Miami has a commitment from 4-star QB Kevin Olsen from Wayne, NJ. Mr. Olsen had around 10 offers, including ones from Florida St. and UNC.

JM with the news. Florida State has a commitment from 3-star DB Marquez White from Dothan, AL. Mr. White had ~ 10 offers, none from other ACC schools. Seminoles have 9 commits.

Georgia tech is up to 5 commits after a slow start. The first is 3-star DT Darius Commissiong from Forestville, Md. He had > 10 offers, including ones from BC, Duke, Maryland, UNC, NC State, and Wake Forest (who has yet to get on the board).

UVA has a new commit, 3-star DB Hipolito Corporan from Houston, TX. He had a total of 5 offers, none from other ACC schools. Wahoos have 8 commits, and move ahead of Clemson into 4th place.

JM in the house, with some news about commits over the last week.

FSU gathered its 10th commit, 4-star OG Ira Denson from Madison, FL, who had ~ 10 offers.

UVA has its 9th commit, LaChaston Smith, 3-star LB from Statesville, NC. Mr. Smith also had offers from UNC and Wake Forest.

Georgia Tech has a commitment from Nigel Bowden, 4-star LB from Macon, GA, and another in Kevin Robbins, 3-star DE from Forestville, MD. Mr. Robbins also had offers from BC, Duke, Wake, UNC and NC State. Yellow Jackets have 7 commits.

BC has its 3rd commit in Josh Tapscott, 2-star ATH from West Roxbury, MA.

And Wake is on the board at last - with unrated OL Cameron Gardner, of Bailey, NC.

Also, one of the services has now evaluated some previously unrated players.

That's right, homeboy! Don't commit if you're gonna skeaze around other whores; our coaching staff don't take kindly to little nancies. On one hand, hurts to lose a recruit, but we're pretty stacked at LB right now (and in the 2013 class). He'll probably end up at UGA; I just hope it doesn't kill his career...

Alright, folks, JM in the house, and there's been a lot of action over the last week.

As a couple of posters have pointed out, Clemson has had a decommitment, and is down to 6 commits. Nigel Bowden has also decommitted from Ga Tech, and the Yellow Jackets are down to 6 commits as well.

Miami has a commitment from 3-star TE Jeremy Kerr from St. Petersburg, FL, and the 'Canes are up to 7 commits. Kerr also had an offer from Wake Forest.

Boston College has its 5th commit in 3-star QB Tim Boyle from Middleton, CT. He had 5 other offers, including ones from Pitt and Syracuse.

NC State has a commitment from 3-star ATH Pharoh from Tabor City, NC, and the Wolfpack are up to 5 commits.

Maryland picked up its 4th commitment with 3-star OL Jajuan Dulaney from Powder Springs, GA.

And a big week for Wake, which pulled in 4 new commits. Taylor Chambers is a 3-star OL from Irmo, SC. Cameron Gardner is a 2-star OL from Bailey, NC. Cory Helms is a 3-star OL from Alpharetta, GA, who also had offers from UNC and Syracuse. And Brad Watson is a 2-star CB from Round Rock, TX. Demon Deacons have 5 commits total.

Duke has a commitment from 3-star WR Johnell Barnes from Fort Myers, FL. Barnes had > 10 offers, none from other ACC programs.

Georgia Tech has its 7th commit, this one is OL Chris Griffin from Crawfordville, FL. Mr. Griffin had > 10 offers, including ones from Clemson and Maryland.

UVA has a commit from 2-star DE Jack English from Richmond, VA. English was also offered by Va Tech. Cavs have 10 commits total.

And Wake continues their momentum with a commitment from 2-star TE Cam Serigne from Ashburn, VA. Deacons have gone to 6 commits quickly, and pass Maryland.

I think 2 of his team mates have already committed there, if I'm not mistaken. So it wouldn't be a big surprise if this is true. BAMA is really after him, but I don't think we can pull him.
