who becomes the odd man out on that D line when it’s time to re-sign guys?

Payne?
Sweat?
Allen?

Or is there a way to keep them all and I’m just not seeing it? Somebody has to eventually go, no?

It should be Kerrigan.

It should be Kerrigan.

I didn’t include him because he’s obviously at the end of his career and not one of the four recent 1st round draft picks on that line (assuming Young is the pick).

I feel like they can’t possibly keep all 4 on second contracts.

At this point, Allen is going into year 4, and we are likely to pick up his fifth year option. He is the first one up for an extension and it will really depend on how he plays over the next two seasons and the contract he demands.

Payne is going into year three, so we still have three seasons left of his services. It is too early to tell.

Sweat is in the same exact ball park as Payne .with even more time.

i would think RK would be the odd man out but it could be anderson and brantley
