if you take 2 players top 10 seasons, Lets call the players Player A, and Player B...
of both players top 10 seasons you made a list of the top 10 seasons amongst the 2...

Player B is on the list 7 times while player A is on the list 3 times, but Player A's 3 times were the BEST 3 seasons on the list(not even statistically debatable)...

Which player do you think is better??

top 3 could be .330 50 130 next 7 could be .290 25 100 and player A could have sucked aside from those 3 seasons.

Assume similar career ratio stats, with the consistent player having better counting stats...

I myself would rather have a player who put up .300 30 110 for a 10 year period than a player who went crazy for three years and put up .330 50 140 and then the other 7 years he went .275 15 85
