Red Sox down 5-0 and 6-1 rally back to win 10-8 in extra innings. Fister sucked but the bullpen went 9 IP giving up 2 ERs. Last 6 innings allowed just 4 base runners, 2 of which were thrown out on the basepaths. Magic number down to 4 for the playoffs and 10 for the division.

Yankees get a nice start from Jaime Garcia who pitches into the 6th without giving up an earned run and striking out 9. Chapman with the 5 out save after coming in with the bases loaded and 1 out in the 8th. Easily his best performance of the year. Betances tried to give that game away. Also Judge with another HR, putting him 5 behind McGwire's rookie record.

Brewers win while the Cubs, Cardinals, and Rockies are off. Puts them just 2 back of Colorado for the 2nd wild card, and 3.5 back of Chicago

Carson Smith with his first save in Boston and first since August 18th, 2015.

Giancarlo Stanton hit his 55th HR, a home series against the Mets might be just what he needs to get to 60.

Kershaw with his 2nd loss in his last 3 starts. He had 2 losses in his previous 21.
