Well we are significantly better at home (less 1st inn runs) than on the road. If that counts for anything.Nice to know that there is a team that does the 1st inning worse than the Giants.
Got to take what you can get.Well we are significantly better at home (less 1st inn runs) than on the road. If that counts for anything.
Gerald is another vet who looks done. Even worse than Belt and almost as bad as Crawford.Tying run at 1st for Gerald : bupkiss

30900 in att. I wonder when the last sellout was? We’ll have to put up with Noggin’s loyalty to Posey, Belt and Craw. They deserve it. Noggin has earned the right.
But next season, no way any of those three hit higher than 6th
I sympathize with Posey. It’s a long season. He was hurt last year. He simply is not a good hitter this year. He’s doing a Huffer (weak grounder to 2nd) virtually every at bat. His RBI total will be the lowest of his career.
The Giants desperately need team speed, and clutch hitting.
Heard an interesting comment about QB’s. Some QB’s (Brady, Rodgers, Etc) make the team better. Most QB’s need lots of skill players around to do well.
Posey used to be the first, but is now the second.
BTW, went to the game today with my daughter. Pretty warm, 83° at first pitch. Scrabble was OK. Noggin, as is his custom, left him in to start the 7th, after allowing him to hit in the 6th. Giants got two runs back to make it 3-2, but Scrabble gave up a solo homer to make it 4-2. For the 7th time this month, the Giants got no hits with RISP. None! And Posey’s Huffer to end the game was pathetic. And after 1st and 3rd and no outs.
Kuip has been raving about this play since it happened. He says it is a prep play, not an instinct play, but that in order to pull it off, you have to be SUPER experienced. He is shocked it happened with a young rookie and thinks it shows that Dubon has a very high baseball IQ.I must say that Dubon made a really smart play. Runner was going from 1st. Slow grounder to 2nd. Dubon looked at 1st, and when he saw the runner going to 3rd, he nailed him. Really good instinct play.
Heads up play on the 3rd baseman to hustle over there as well. He was really far away on that shift.I must say that Dubon made a really smart play. Runner was going from 1st. Slow grounder to 2nd. Dubon looked at 1st, and when he saw the runner going to 3rd, he nailed him. Really good instinct play.
