The Lakers have too many weapons. They had 2 players (Mychal Thompson and Michael Cooper) coming off the bench who could have started for almost any other team in the league.

They were #1 in the league in offensive rating.

They were also extremely underrated defensively as they were #7 in defensive rating (I was actually surprised they were that high).
