Lmao brother. I'm scratching my head here on the Devils board stressing about our fucking blue line? I have to admit that I'd be very excited about the idea of signing Clarkson in the offseason.

There are a shitload of good RFA and UFA's out there this offseason.

As I mentioned before,I'd love to see Homer try to make a deal on Halak and if not then Elliott,both UFA's next year.Number 1 priority-a good puck moving,offensive defenceman.

The ultimate powerplay move by Homer IMO would be to make an offer(ala Shea Weber) on both Pietrangelo and Shattenkirk on St.Louis and make them match.Piets gets 3.16 right now and Shats 1.3.

No chance in hell Homer offer sheets. Blues ownership will match and that will piss off GMs around the league from dealing with us in future trades. Webber was a great risk but Homer did not have a plan B, which fucked us. Halak would be my top choice and buyout Bryzy.

IMO he does,only because their prospects are pretty thin.Unless they trade up in the draft or do an offseason trade he's really got his hands tied.

It all comes back to not drafting a damn defenceman(Mattaa when available) last year in the 1st and 2nd round,that's biting them in the ass.
