but those bugging bugs. 4-2 good guys
OK, to lighten the mood a bit.
Most people can name who the winningest combination of brother pitchers (2 pitchers who were brothers, combined wins) were (I won't say in case you can't)
Without looking it up, which brothers had the second highest combined win total?
The two combos I know off the top of my head are the Niekro's (Phil and Joe) and the Perry's (Gaylord and Jim).
Of course, if Cy Young had a brother who won 20-30 games, they'd rank right up there, too.
Another 1st inning run allowed.
And with the way these boys hit historically poorly at Oracle, game over?
Being shutout is always on the table with these guys
We really miss Dickerson.
We do. And that is really a terrible sign. He's highly talented, and often injured. If he is the key to our hitting, we are in deep trouble.
I was going to say the Dean brothers (forgot about the Niekros, even with one of their sons playing for the club for a bit). The two combos I know off the top of my head are the Niekro's (Phil and Joe) and the Perry's (Gaylord and Jim).

I mean, it's not deep trouble so much as...back to before the crazy run in July. The injuries were why I thought they'd go with an outfielder instead of an infielder (Gennett)
When @Mays-Fan first got on here and to his credit took out his sword and said let's do this, I laid out the math of how much winning they would have to do (and how it was a very long shot) to make the playoffs. I also said that in a 162 game season, everyone goes on runs. Good teams go 2-8, bad ones go 12-3. It happens. Doesn't make a bad/mediocre team a good one. We're just not a playoff team. Not yet...give FZ some time.
WOW what a play by Crawford! That dude can still pick it.

Niekros were my first thought. I didn’t think of the Perry’s, but my next thought was the Maddox’s. Though I think Mike was a reliever, so he probably didn’t add much to the total (not to mention Greg came too late to really accumulate epic totals)
In staying true to the intent, I didn’t look any of their numbers up.Greg had 355 wins, Mike had about 30 I think.
Now the Mets are crazy hot. It happens.I mean, it's not deep trouble so much as...back to before the crazy run in July. The injuries were why I thought they'd go with an outfielder instead of an infielder (Gennett)
