Don't think so. He could have left after 5 clean if Bryant didn't have the error. He wasn't sharp though. 5 hits and 3 walks in 5. It also appears that we aren't hitting much either. The Bryant homer is the only hit through 6.

He was greatly helped by three double plays in the first four innings. That's tough to keep that sort of pace.

Walker was 1-39 this season before JC served up two on a platter and he is now 3-41 for the season.

Not a huge fan of Walker showing up his skipper there, but he may have had a point. He was dealing and all trouble this inning was his defense’s fault, not his.

When he was with the Mariners, I saw him a couple of times pitching rehab assignments in Modesto. He's a large human being.
