Going into tonight, the Giants are in 4th place in the West, 7 games back of 1st and 6.5 games back of the 2nd Wild Card, with 5 teams between them and the Brewers.

Edit: Duggar hitting 8th and playing center field. Bumgarner, of course, pitching and in the 9th spot.

Two of the last three years have seen this team's offensive production nosedive horribly in the 2nd half. Is it conditioning or age (or both)?

Would love to say Bam Bam's fault, but he's not directly to blame this year.

There are good hitters in this lineup, and one does wonder why they are so bad at scoring runs. And the precipitous drop off in power is concerning.

...and Longo with the FPOM to end the scoring threat.

I suppose at this rate, in the most hitter friendly park in existence, a scoring threat is as close as the Giants will get.

"Hey, if you aren't nice to us, we promise to score some runs."

"Oh, no! Anything but that! We'll be nice! We promise! Don't threaten us, please!"

The first sub-.200 hitter walks. The second sub-.200 hitter drives in two. The guy with 6 homers and a sub-.400 SLG% hits a homer

Posey losing the ball again. He also missed it last inning.

edit: to be fair, that's on Duggar
