#7 is one better than I expected for the BCS standings. Bama is the only 1 loss AQ ahead of NU. Nebraska is in pretty good position here and needs OU to win out and play in the CCG. Beating Okie St twice isn't going to help Nebraska in the computers.

TCU leaped Boise. Believe it or not they are getting mileage off of their Baylor win. Baylor has Okie St, A&M, and Oklahoma remaining. It's a matter of time before Bama and Nebraska (assuming they win out) start pressuring the undefeated non AQ's.

The computers don't like Bama at all, yet the coaches and Harris do at #5. If Nebraska were #7 or #8 in the human polls (instead of #10 and #11) they'd be ahead of Bama in the BCS right now.

Nothing against Nebraska at all but when the BCS came out you could see it was in LOVE w The Big 12 , Texas and Kansas St were in it .

This is what I also expect at this point.

Oregon wins out.

Bama beats Auburn and wins the SEC CCG, the computers give them more respect and they leap undefeated TCU and Boise.

For Nebraska to slip in, they would need Bama to beat Auburn and lose in the SEC CCG.

But as my grandad used to tell me "that's why they put erasers on pencils".

No they do not......they had too many close calls this season against subpar opponents. They talked tonight about how Auburn isn't as good as their rank shows.

If they win out and lose to SC they will drop out.

If an SEC East opponent wins the SEC, Nebraska's chances go way up.

We really doesn't want Oklahoma St to win out though. Nebraska won't get any extra computer credit for beating them twice.

We need Missouri to win out (as long as NU does too), Oklahoma to win out the regular season and get into the CCG, and Oklahoma St. to beat everyone but OU.
