Pagan is 4-9 with a double against Colon. Crawford is 4-7. Posey has nice numbers, but not playing today.

They want to make sure he get's through BP alright, then they'll make a roster move. If we weren't on a 7 game skid, he probably would have played a few rehab games before the ASB.

I understand that. Than why sit Posey? If it is soooo important to win tonight, why not put Posey in the squat (or at 1st)?

I just hate rushing moves to account for something that is short term (a losing streak). That just reeks of desperation.

A LOT of assumptions in this post, Cal. You don't know that they're "rushing" him or why Posey is sitting, or that they think it's SOOOO important to win tonight.

They are activating him without sending him on a rehab assignment. Not even 1 game. How often does that happen?

As far as it being soooo important to win tonight, that was more directed towards SFGATB. He brought up the fact of the losing streak and how they wanted to end that. I was extrapolating from that thought.
