In the AL the 9 hole is almost like another leadoff hitter, with the 1 behind him. Especially when we have an RBI guy like Pence batting 1.

Good point, I would probably switch the two as well. But Blanco hasn't exactly instilled much confidence as a "leadoff" hitter lately anyway. He's been alright with RISP though.
