I was listening on the radio driving home from work in the 2nd period. Last 58 games, Sharks 28th in the league on the PP. WOW, with all that talent, wtf!! Who coaches that, Baby Jay Woodcroft - lol??? Anyways, this brings me to my question:

Does Dan Boyle have any value any more to this team? He was burned for a few goals tonight including the shorty, hasn't scored in eons, and seems to lose every possible physical battle, and since he is the supposed pp qb, 28th in the league on the PP that has to lay in his lap somewhat? Is he reaching the end?

I'm watching right now from HDR. Sharks PP sucked big time....and what was Randy smoking tonight. He said "Couture scored" on our first goal, and "great save by Niemi" ..lol

the answer seems to be that danny is basically done. the hit that knocked him out might have functionally ended his career. I wouldnt not be surprised if this is his last season in teal and quite possibly the last ever. Alot of the PP issues stem from boyle as he makes alot of poor plays and indeed loses alot of battles. He's a minus player and doesnt even lead the team D in scoring despite all the PP time. Hopefully the sharks can win it so boyler can go out on top. There's no doubting his heart, and I think he's done. Id actually like to see demers have the #1 PP time.

Oh christ Rules quick you and I should both go buy lotto tickets, i agree with you on this as well. Its hard to say if its still a concussion issue which would obviously causes negative effects on decision making ability and the quickness and which he does it.

But frankly it looks like age is slowing him down greatly which really sucks to see in a competitor like Boyler
